The Red Hen Project – The Big Thank You

The Number One Company for the past two years has chosen the Red Hen Project which is a hyper-local Cambridge charity working directly with families, promoting positive, confident parenting and cooperative relationships between schools and families.
On Tuesday 11th July 2023, to mark its 25th Anniversary the RHP hosted a Big Thank You to all of its supporters on the cricket pitch of Jesus College, Cambridge and I was fortunate to be invited to this event as the representative of the FDL Foundation.
The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly atmosphere, with dishes of Strawberries and cream and glasses of Pimm’s. There were about 80 people attending including members of staff and the various supporters of the Red Hen Project making it an excellent vehicle for everyone to meet up with each other.
As can be seen, a good time was had by all and the weather was extremely kind, as it did not rain until 8.00pm when the event was over.
The Order of the Fleur de Lys is very proud to be able to support such a worthy undertaking, which fully complies with the Foundations criteria and we hope to continue with this support in the future.
