In Memoriam Jonathan Lewis Dunkerley 1940-2021

It is with regret that we announce the death from Covid of our ex-member Jonathan Lewis Dunkerley. 

 

A somewhat eccentric and colourful figure, Jonathan was a member for several year and founded and was the first Captain Commander of the No 4 City of London Company. 

 

He had been an active member of the ACF into which he was commissioned and held the rank of Captain. He had also served in the territorial Royal Army Pay Corps. 

 

He was an active member of the Defence and Security Forum and together with Lady Olga Maitland organised well regarded seminars at the Carlton Club. 

 

He was an active freemason and member of various Orders and organisations. 

 

The funeral service will be held at Boston Cemetery and Crematorium, Lincolnshire at 1.30 PM on Wednesday 10th March 2021.
